F1-E0 on a Jenn-Air wall oven or range is a control-board failure: the two-part code from the Whirlpool-family platform points at the clock and electronic control (the ERC) itself rather than a sensor or a latch. On a Rise or Noir oven it usually shows as a dead or erratic display.
The F1 family flags the control, and the E0 suffix narrows it to the board's own logic. When the ERC fails an internal check or loses a critical function, it reports F1-E0 and stops the oven. This is distinct from a sensor code, where the board is fine but its input is bad.
We confirm it is the board and not the wiring by checking the harness and the sensor first, then replace the clock/ERC control. Because a model-specific F1-E0 is the board itself, the repair is a board replacement, and we verify the oven runs through a full heat cycle afterward.
