E0 on a Liebherr refrigerator or wine cabinet is an electronics fault: the control has detected a problem in its own circuitry or a sensor input it cannot resolve, and it flags E0 to signal the unit needs attention. On a Monolith column or a BioFresh unit it may appear alongside a temperature that will not hold.
Liebherr controls the DuoCooling system and its precise temperatures through a board reading several NTC sensors. When the board fails an internal check, or reads a sensor input that makes no sense, it reports E0 as a general electronics fault rather than a specific sensor code. It is the broadest of the E-codes and needs diagnosis to pin down.
We start by testing the NTC sensors and their wiring, since a bad input can present as an electronics fault, then evaluate the control board itself. Depending on what the tests show, we replace the failed sensor or the control board and confirm the cabinet holds its set temperature.

- Confirm the doors are sealing and nothing is blocking airflow inside.
- Note whether the temperature is also drifting or the display is erratic.
- Move anything highly perishable while it is diagnosed.
