F11 on a Miele dishwasher is a drainage fault: the machine ran its cycle but the water did not pump out in the expected time, so the control stopped and flagged F11. On a G7000 it usually leaves standing water in the base at the end of a wash.
The drain pump has a job with a deadline. If it cannot move the water out fast enough, the control assumes a blockage and logs F11 rather than leaving the load sitting in dirty water. The cause is almost always something obstructing the path: the drain pump impeller, the non-return valve, or a kinked drain hose.
We clear and inspect the drain pump and the non-return valve first, since debris there is the leading cause. If the path is clear and the pump still will not move water, the pump motor itself has failed and gets replaced. We confirm a full drain before closing the repair.
What You Can Safely Check
- Check the drain hose behind the machine for a kink or a high loop.
- Clean the coarse and fine filters in the base, which often catch the debris that stalls the drain.
- Bail out standing water so the machine can be inspected safely.
- Note whether F11 appears every cycle or only on heavier loads.
