F70 on a Miele dishwasher is a water-level fault: the float or pressure sensor that tells the control how much water is in the machine has sent a reading the control cannot trust, so it stops to avoid over- or under-filling. On a G7000 it can show up as a cycle that halts partway.
Miele meters water precisely, and it relies on a float switch and a pressure sensor to know the level. When the float sticks, or the sensor drifts, the control gets a level reading that does not match what it expects for that point in the cycle, and it logs F70 rather than risk a flood or a dry wash.
We inspect the float in the base for debris holding it up or down, then test the pressure sensor and its hose for a blockage or a leak. A sticking float often just needs cleaning; a failed sensor gets replaced, and we verify the machine fills to the right level afterward.
