F0 or F1 on a Monogram wall oven or Professional range is a stuck touch-pad or control fault: the GE-platform control senses a key held down or a control condition it cannot resolve, so it flags the code and stops taking normal input. On a ZTD oven it usually surfaces after steam or heat reaches the panel.
The control scans the touch membrane and monitors its own logic. A shorted key reads as a permanent press, and a control fault trips the same family of codes. The board cannot separate a real command from a stuck one, so it logs F0 or F1 and holds until the fault clears.
We test the touch membrane and its ribbon first, since a stuck key is the most common cause. A shorted membrane is replaced; if the board's logic has failed, the control board is the fix. We verify every key responds before finishing.
What You Can Safely Check
- Cut power at the breaker for a minute to clear a transient stuck key.
- Note whether one area of the panel is dead or over-sensitive.
- Keep steam and moisture off the panel.
- Have the model and serial ready for the right membrane or board.
Schedule a Diagnosis
We localize the fault, explain what failed, and give you a written estimate first. Diagnostic and travel fees, if applicable, are confirmed before the appointment and before repair approval.
